Tonight, Tara and I had Tempeh Reuben, chips and Natty Greene’s Golden Ale. Natty Greene‘s Brewery is a local favorite; their Golden Ale being one of our staples when we want a quality beer that doesn’t hog the screen. It’s crisp and clean. Pleasantly yeasty.
It was picked because the star of this meal wasn’t the beer, it was the sandwich. It was made with a sauerkraut crafted by a Carrboro native slow food producer – Farmer’s Daughter. Delicious. Go buy it. Now. Oh wait, you can only get it in Chapel Hill… to be continued
