It was $4.99 this year (!) and is almost as good as last year’s. It still has that pleasing sweetness. The finish is only so-so; innuendo aside, I really do like a lingering finish possibly because it keeps my taste buds occupied so I don’t have to rush to my next sip, which is a good idea when you are a featherweight in the drinks department.

It’s a steal, and really is quite awesome.

Another winter favorite of mine is Dominion’s Baltic Porter, which is just a nice, drinkable porter. It’s fairly big in terms of alcohol content, and as such carries a lot of flavor. It’s one of my favorite beers, regardless of blending partners.
